ou can use the Print dialog to save documents in Portable Document Format (PDF) or PostScript format.
Open the document, choose Print from the File menu, and choose Output Options from the options pop-up menu. Select "Save as File," choose the format, and click Save.
If the PostScript format is not available, add a PostScript printer to Print Center. If you don't have a PostScript printer, you can add a virtual PostScript formatting printer.
PostScript files are saved as PostScript Level 2 files in ASCII format and include all but the standard 13 fonts. Fonts are subsetted.
You can also create a PDF file while viewing a document in Preview by choosing Save As PDF from the File menu.
