I recently installed BitDefender anti virus 2010.

It's disabled all my Firefox add-ons (AdBlocker etc)

When I go into the Add-Ons menu in Firefox it says that all they're all still enabled yet they are not working.

There is also the BitDefender anti phishing toolbar that I can't seem to remove or disable.
I'm a bit of a newbie to BitDefender so any help on how to resolve this problem is appreciated

Thanks Guys

Since you are unable to install the extension you should try the following:

* If you are upgrading the extension, uninstall the original version before upgrading.
* Make sure you are allowing software installation in your browser options.

How to enable software installation
* Save the extension to your local machine (by right-clicking the download link and choosing 'Save Link As...') and drag the saved file into your browser window to perform a local install.
* Install the extension in a new profile
