The ailment called black death is the name of the bubonic plague which spread all over Europe in the 14 th century.The disease was called so because when people got sick black bubbles full with puss spread all over their bodies and they died usually 3-4 days after that

It is called the Black Death because the skin color of infected persons turned dark gray, almost black. Death came so quickly that Italian writer and poet Giovanni Boccaccio commented: "one could eat lunch with friends and have dinner with ancestors in paradise." Symptoms began with aching limbs followed by vomiting of blood.
